Finally down under!

Well we are here, we made it! Long journey with delayed planes and lost surfboards, but we made it. We have been here almost a week now, and done a tonne of running around. We are staying with Brett's aunt and uncle who have been great; giving us a place to live, a car to drive, and a few cold beers every night. Couldn't ask for more!

It's been super nice weather, usually around 23 degrees, although one day was 33 and it was hot! Supposed to get into the 30's this weekend. We made the big caravan (or camping trailer back in Canada) purchase. It's an oldie, but clean and good, so we are pretty excited. It's pretty hard to find them over here, unless you want to pay awhole lot. They are quite alot more expensive than back home. We are getting a truck inspected tomorrow and hopefully that is all a go, then we are all good. Ready to head up the coast, surf and relax until we pick up my brother Dennis and Maggie in Brisbane November 12. Sorta can't believe we are really here!!

well new to us anyways... This is the sitting area, bed is at the other end. Love the lace curtains. Guy told us that the previous owner had added Venetian Blinds for that "European Feel", loving it. We will probably do a bit of work and fixing up to it, but it's super clean and no smell which is the main thing!
