Had a good night's sleep and strangely no jetlag however it is becoming increasingly difficult knowing what day of the week it is and what the time is in the UK to skype family.

We spent the day walking round Sydney, this has beome a walk round the world tour! It was hot and muggy to start and overcast so no good for taking photos. We visited the Paddington and Kings Cross areas...trendy or seedy, it's difficult to tell and probably a question of opinion. In the afternoon we took a ferry ride to Parramatta to rest our weary feet. The boat sailed down the river for almost an hour. This is definately a beautiful way of admiring the suburbs of the city.Sailors paradise. Many homes have their moorings where we would have our garages.

The rain hit hard on our way back, a real tropical storm but the locals seemed to think it was normal. suppose that is how the place looks so green and lush.
