The Belvoir Theater
3/08/2012

Rain, rain. We woke up in Killcare to a steady downpour of rain.

Today we return to Sydney. We packed up the luggage and headed toward the City where John and Norah have an apartment. The drive south was on the Freeway. This highway was cut through sandstone rock giving it a very unusual appearance.

Plans have been made to meet John and Norah’s daughter, Rita. It is exciting…….Rita is a playwrite……..and has written the play, Babyteeth. The play is part of the 2012 season at the Belvoir Theater. The Belvoir is one Sydney’s premier theaters.

We met Rita at Mohr Fish, a restaurant near the theater. It is a casual restaurant that serves great fresh fish. After dinner, we went on to the theater. The play was very well presented. The sets were unusual; they were on a revolving platform that allowed for fast moving action. It is clear that Rita is a very talented writer.
