Edit Blog Post
So I have been here in Sydney for just over 2 weeks now, I thought it was about time to share some of the things I have been doing. For those who don’t know, I am doing an internship in Sydney for 5 months, then after I will be travelling all of Australia, but for now this blog will be limited to just my activities in Sydney I’m afraid.
Work is going well, the guys I’m working with seem really nice and I have already been involved in a meeting so hopefully I will gain the experience this is all about. One of the areas they specialise in is professional CV writing so they said they can have a look at mine and write me a proper one that is professionally written, the first time Kris(the resume writer) read it I could jut hear laughter, not a good sign. I have met some really cool people at the hostel but the problem is that they all leave pretty quickly because they are travelling. The German girl I am working with is lovely so I have been spending a lot of time with her, and she has a good sense of
humor......even for a German, and lets not go into the football, tears have already been shed. I met a Scottish lad at the Intern meeting who is also cool and he is like me doing an internship so is here in Sydney for a while, so at least there will be one mate who is sticking around.
So far I have been to the main harbor where the bridge and opera house are, the opera house is very impressive up close, I really want to see a concert inside it, I think that really would be impressive. I have also been to the top of Sydney tower and got some amazing views up there, 360 degrees around Sydney, but I also did the walk around the outside at the very top which was incredible and also involved two Pyrex glass platforms which you could see through right down to the ground which made me go a little jelly legged, and one of the platforms even extended electronically which was a bit false but still very scary, especially when the tour guide started to jump on it. It was a shame I didn’t get any pictures up there but I
wasn’t allowed so I decided to buy an official one, despite the inflated price.
We went to bondi beach yesterday which was slightly disappointing to be honest because it really it very much a surfers beach, and I was the only person in the water swimming without a wetsuit, which I do have a video but unfortunately an female who shall remain unnamed was taking ad there seem to be some inappropriate close ups which I need to find how to edit before it becomes suitable for viewing. It actually reminded me very much of an English beach, and we ended up having fish and chips looking out over the beach which prompted my mate Liam to say "guys, we are just chilling out at Bondi beach......how cool is that" which I think you will all agree is actually very cool indeed. However due to it being winter here there was a severe lack of hot Aussie surfer girls and so I was reliably informed guys as well. There is still a lot to do here in Sydney, tomorrow I am going to the Taronga (i don’t know if I spelt that right) Zoo which is supposed to be
one of the best, I am told is isn’t like the zoo's in England but I’m not so sure if that just wasn’t good sales talk, we will soon find out. There is also the aquarium which has the biggest crocodile in Australia, and has no playmates because it ate its last two pals apparently. And there are a few museums here, two that I want to visit are the national maritime museum and the art galleries, which I think both, have free entry but will be worth seeing. And of course there are unlimited amount of beaches around here, so I don’t think I will get bored of going to the same beach over and over.
The thing I am finding right now is that Sydney is very expensive, so I am having to be very careful on what I spend, especially because there are a lot of temptations, but to try and save money I will be looking for a room share, and in 30 minutes I will be going to look at a room which is sharing with 2 Irish girls, so I suppose things could be worse in a room share.
I will try
and post new blogs when I can, however I think being in Sydney for so long there is only so much I can write about.
Peace
Ed

Nice one!
All I can say is - if that poor lonely crocodile with no mates happens to be called Sheila, you have an obligation to befriend it and bring it home otherwise it's Sheila on Sainsburys checkout Farnham for you - and I guarantee she is way less attractive! Take care Eds. x
