I love spending time with new friends I met at Beverly Hills Chinese Baptist Church! They are a bunch of food lovers, taking us to all the good food in town.

One of the most popular type of desserts here is chocolate - my favorite!! One afternoon after Sunday service, Vicky suggested to try out the new chocolate store opened near Chinatown - the Chocolate Room. It features not only their own brand of chocolate, but also a variety of chocolate drinks including chocolate shot, mocha, and also drinks blending with other famous chocolate brands such as Ferraro Roche, Tim Tam, etc. and of course, ice cream!! Even though it was not the smartest thing to such heavy drinks before buffet, we still ordered a lot!!

That same night, we joined the Church's 7th anniversary buffet dinner at a RSL club. It was a bit strange to us joining an anniversary celebration of a church we've only been to twice, not very much involved. The feeling is just odd, but at the same time, it was amazing to see the blessings of God to his churches around the world. RSL stands for Returned and Serviced League. They have clubs all over the place, pretty much in every suburbs and they feature casino and low cost (occasionally quality) food. It really depends on the caterer in each club. Buffet at this particular RSL club costs $18 per person, of course no fancy decoration in the restaurant, but the food turned out pretty good! I enjoyed more to hear the sharing from the Church about God's work in the past year and their future goals as well as spending time with the Goshan fellowship playing silly games :D

The night after weeding, we went to City to try out the Malyasian place that always has a long line up outside! This place is famous for the fresh roti made on site in the open kitchen that can be seen from the street. We ordered one of each of the roti on the menu, meat, egg, butter, etc. After awhile, they all tasted the same. The best of all is still the original roti, with no fancy stuffing. They also make authentic "lai cha", milk tea that is smoothened by dragging between two cups. The dessert was another roti, a sweet and deep fried one served with ice cream, SO GOOD! I would say this is one of the must eat in Sydney! For dessert, we went to PassionFlower. This is a Japanese and Chinese fusion type of dessert with Asian flavour ice cream such as jackfruit, taro, lychee, black sesame combined with red bean, waffle and sticky rice ball, etc. Lychee rose ice cream is the best there. Very satisfied~
