Weekend in Sydney with Pete and Angela
Kings Cross
My weekend began with a busy day at work in Brisbane and ending in a night out on the town with Pete and Angela in Kings Cross!!.
Kings Cross proved to be a pretty interesting place to stay the weekend. A combination of ladies of the night, men dressed up in sailor outfits and and irish lepricorns proved an education.
Saturday consisted of the usual tourist activities, including visiting the the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Rocks.
Manly
After a hard days work on Saturday!! we went to a fantastic restaurant in Manly called Ribs and Rump, a definate must if you are a carnavor or if you are Angela!
Pete espacially enjoyed his time there as he had not eaten in atleast a couple of hours and and had not seen meat for the duration of his 7 month backpacking tour!!
Following a hard night on the p$ss on Saturday night, a lie in on Sunday was well deserved. In true back packing fashion we rose a 8.30am had our free tea
Waiting for the Ferry
Where's my Ribs and gone? Oh well beer will do!! Hmmm Beer (3 cups for me) and toast and then proceeded to return bed until 13.00.
Bondi
After finally draging our sorry b$tts out of bed we visited Bondi beach to meet up with Neil Webb and spend an energetic day by the sea.
Sydney Harbour at Night
Sunday evening consisted of a three hour photo session taking in the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House (Photos to follow), with Pete and I almost getting locked in Hyde Park.
