Eighty Days around the world was the brain wave at the start of this Tour or was it 80lb no thats the book title. Anyway so where did this voyage of discover get us ? This mid life crisis as some termed it where did it deliver us. Watching Everon on Tour and missing the only goal of the game as Philip has drunk to much(very easy as he doesnt drink these days). So the more things change the more they stay the same. so add it to the list of missed pre season goals Everton once scored 10 in austria and Philip missed them all.

That would be harsh in the extreme it is an absoulty brillant day to see some old faces from home and very humbling with all the congratulations and the money thet thrust on us for the charity while insited we stay in various hotel rooms with them and basically making Philip remember that being an Evertonian is a very special thing , Maybe it was fate they followed us who knows. what it was was a reminder that Philip has some fantastic friends and is very lucky.


As for the rest of the day who knows Philip cant remember and not for the first time we have to watch Everton pre season action on the internet the next day to see how we went on some things will never change.....thankfully
