these were in Litchfield National Park in the Northern Territory
(J) So we spent about a week in darwin. it was hot, humid and monsoon'alishus , so much rain!!! we then bought a kick ass ride....nice 92 lexcen station wagon....pimp!!!! she was named betsy, it came stocked with campin gear and 3 coolers, all for beer...mmmmm

Drove 3800 km...... very eventful!!!!
from very green Darwin into the outback...check the pics's..outback...outback...outback.. outback.. GREEN! thats u's drivin into queensland from out of the dust filled centre of aus.

car overheated only once....after we got to the coast... betsy's good now !!

(S) And it's of course hot. 37 today so we are searching for some forest - water and shade!!! hope you enjoy the pics from our not so eventful, but still quite eventful for us trip
inland and toward the coast. we're just outside of Brisbane now after re-routing ourselves from our highly anticipated destination of Cairns. (sigh) too much rain and roads cut off due to flooding. I am thinking of how nice it would be if it rained today!! so, we've missed most of the coast of Queensland but it's been fun not knowing where were going to end up....and we know we have time to see

it later. maybe after we get out butts workin'.....can't imagine picking fruit in this weather, but we'll see what's ready to harvest anyway!! yesterday we made a pitt stop at a local vineyard and tasted some local grapejuice.....mmmmm. I think they put alcohol in it or something though because it tasted strange....and we felt kind of funny after...but good strange!

Hi there cousin Jeff. Today we are having Australia day at school. We have to dress in shorts and we get to make a POCKET lunch. Mom was showing me the pictures of the kangas. I wish I was there!!!! HUNTER
