NFA - The beginning

NFA – sounds kinda dirty, but No Fixed Address (NFA) has always been our retirement plan, like many other Aussies. We just decided not to wait till retirement…

We’ve done a lot of travelling over the years in many different ways; by car, by bus, by motorcycle, by 4wd and by plane, camping in hotels and hostels, in swags and tents, and in camper trailers (soft floor and hard floor). We’ve had lots of adventures and seen a lot more of Australia than most Australians…. but we want more.

I am a Change Manager, a contractor in the IT industry. My work often took me away from my family and home, but now our kids are grown and have kids of their own, so we have no ties to any specific location. This provides an excellent opportunity to combine work with our passion for travel. We have rented out our house and our plan is to obtain short-term (3-6 month) contracts to work in different locations around Australia, and in our time off we can explore the local areas.

This BLOG is to record and share our adventure with other people.
