Have been spending the last two and a half weeks catching up with everyone again, we have been busy and only had the odd day or two to relax. We went out to the Reptile Park near Gosford one day, we took the kids out and it really was a good day. Really warm but the shows the park put on are quite good and keep you entertained.
My brother Troy and his girlfriend Jess took us out on their boat in Tuggerah Lake to be a spot of fishing which I really have been missing. Deb was a natural, caught a large flathead on her first cast out. We had a great time out there, caught a few things, flathead, bream and flounder most too small to keep, we just kept the flathead that Deb first caught and I had a lovely fresh dinner. Deb surprised me and I think she was really getting in to it by the end, I might be able to persuade her out when we're back in Ireland.
We had a BBQ at home and had all my old friends come around, it was a great day and good to have everyone together and seeing some of them now with their kids, which most of them I had not met before.
A trip north took us to Nelson Bay for some dolphin watching, we got to see the dolphins but the weather wasn't the best that day so it was up to me to look after the kids in the net off the back of the boat....was hard work out there and then finished the day off with some very wet and sandy quad biking on the sand dunes north of Newcastle
We spent two days in Sydney catching up with some friends and also taking in a bit of the city and we had to fit in a visit to Bondi beach for Deb so she could reminisce of old days gone by. We really have been fitting in little trips here and there (plenty to Tuggerah Westfield!), the beach, the Gosford greyhounds, Wyong races, Oran Park to watch my brother Luke race his motorbike, the movies, a bit of nephew wrestling, wii and dinners out....having a great time! Again I have a good few photos so feel free to jump to page 2
