Blow-out
Not your normal flat tire. It just exploded! Got confirmation today that our camper-trailer will be ready on 29th June which gives us a couple of weeks to get organised before we leave.
I'll be posting a map of our proposed travels as soon as I can figure out how to do it. We are setting out on the 10th of July.
Our preliminary plan is to travel up the New South Wales coast via Macksville, Yamba and Murwillumbah to visit Sylvia's grandkids, then to head inland through central Queensland (Charleville, Barcaldine, Winton, Mt Isa, Normanton) to the Gulf of Carpentaria.
From there we'll head off towards Cairns and then come back home down the pacific coast. We think this will take us about six weeks (it's about 5000 kms) so should be back around the end of August.
Really looking forward to this trip. Photos will be added when I figure out how to do it.

(Sir?)
Thanks for letting us all in on the trip. It sounds very exciting, though I wouldn't like to be made redundant to make it possible! We're going on holiday to Austria on 8th July, so I probably won't catch up until we get back. With best wishes, John
