The Blue Mountains is an area of National Park about 2 hours away from Sydney, which for Australia is pretty near! They're called the Blue Mountains because the area is full of Eucalyptus trees which give off a blueish light from a distance.

Stayed for 1 night and had 2 days of walking some of the tracks through the forests and along the clifftops.

Stayed in a lovely little place called the Mountain Lodge Hostel which was stuck in a bit of a time warp but so old fashioned and cosy!
