We are finally on the road. First day to Jervis Bay National Park, near Currarong. Took about 5 hours travel time to do the 340km. Rained all the way from Sydney. Second day was a short drive into Honeymoon Bay on the eastern edge of Jervis Bay. This is a beautiful spot, isolated, bushy, clean water, kangaroos, birds and native vegetation. No further rain today. Lots of southerly wind whipping across Jervis Bay. If it calms down we might get the boat wet. This campground is only open to the public on weekends and school holidays, the rest of the time the Navy fire artillery shells into the nearby hills. Temperature only about 19C.
