Day Three- Calabasas and Malibu!

Today we slept in then got ready and called a hire car place about renting a car. They came and picked us up to take us back to their office (which was based in Hollywood Hotel). I was not confident at all to drive in LA but Laura said she'd be fine. We got a cute Dodge Neon with a NavMan, and headed off to Calabasas to find the Kardashians and go to the Dash Store.Laura was so good on the roads (even though she tended to veer on my side and get VERY close to cars! 😊 We made it to Calabasas after a few wrong turns and it is such a cute old school town! We went to Dash (the Kardashian sisters clothing store) and they were having a massive sale because they are moving the store to Melrose so I got an adorable green button up blouse from $176 to $50! Was very exciting because we've seen the store on the show so much! Though none of the Kardashians were there! 😞We then went to drive around the 'Hidden Hills' where the Kardashians live, but it was fenced off with security at the entrance! We then drove back to the car place by taking a few more wrong turns and got them to drop us back to the hostel. We then hung out in the arvo and got ready for dinner.For dinner we went to Malibu with our new friend Cesar who we met through Lee on the first night. He drove us out there, and even though it was dark it was still pretty! The way to Malibu is up the Pacific Coast Highway (AKA PCH) and it goes directly along the beach via Santa Monica! It's about 35 minutes from Hollywood! Cesar took us to a cute restaurant over looking the beach called Moonshadows! We sat outside in these cute booths that had curtains in case celebrities wanted privacy! We had delicious wine and food again and Laura and I decided we had to stop dining at such nice places or we won't afford our trip! 😊We then got the bus home from Santa Monica and it started raining and we got SATURATED on the walk home! Also We've seen a few celebrities! We came across the presenting of John Cusacks star on the walk of fame, plus Zachary Quinto from star trek walked past us! We plan on finding a lot more! 😊
