The article that I read about was about veterans day and how it is today. The same thing is celebrated over and over every year, which is the commemoration of the veterans who are and have Served in the army. The day was originally supposed to be symbolic, originally being it to celebrate the armistice of WW1. It is made to honor the sacrifices that all the veterans made in the war. It is also said that not many people think about the significance of the day yet they still celebrate it anyways. The day was meant so we could all recognize the greatness and the sacrifices that the veterans made in order for us to be protected, something not a lot of us actually think about.
