We are in Chicago with Patrick's brother Adrian and his girlfriend Vickie. We found fabulous affordable digs near Belmont via Airbnb (www.airbnb.com)and are cozied in for the night after a day of travel. We went through Indianapolis, Louisville, and of course we had to stop and try a pumpkin pie milk shake from Sonic in Elizabeth Town since, afterall, this is Fall and also America. I am so excited to show Patrick's Australian family the plentiful food supply we have here in the South, particularly, the abundance of cheese. However, I am not so familiar with Chicago. Chicago is not exactly a first time experience for the four of us, I stayed for several days in the Greek area with my fam after I graduated, and the Aussies as well have all been to America before and visited the world famous second windy city chitown home to Kanye West Obama and Oprah herself. Though we've all been here before this did not stop us from having some more Chicago style pizza, visiting the Bean at Millenium park, or walking along lake Michigan. Feel like real Chicagoans, or at least I do. Is that what they are called? More to come
