Eddie, thanks from the cruisers,
What a pleasant personat the Glidden Professional Paint Centre. When there are wheels available... we get wheely, wheely happy. Then we go tearing about like Ginger at dog park.
The funny thing is, you might not realize, or maybe admit to yourself that you have such a long, pressing list of distant chores until the chance of a car comes up.
We have been extremely fortunate since we came to Lake Worth. We met a young couple who are just starting their cruising life. They still had a trusty old pick-up while they were finishing their upgrades. A ton of thanks to them for their generosity.
Yesterday two very empathetic friends asked if we could use their car, again...before we leave. You know people really mean this when they put the keys in your hand.
"Uh, oh sure...I guess we might have a couple of things to take care of before we go."
Well we started out at 9 am to the sailing club dock in a rolly sea with Gingrr in tow becaise she needed another International health certificate. Her last one hjad expired.
The trip went something like this....
Closing sale at the Sea Treasure shop on Broadway.
Across town
to the ICI Glidden Paint store on Old Dixie Hwy. The place was so friendly and the price was so go that Frank asked me to take the man's picture.
Then a walk-in for Ginger at the Billage Animal Clonic and about 20 other stops.
We made it back to the marina in time to take showers and return the keys by sunset.
Good thing we don't get wheels everyday or we'd be completely flat, not to mention spinney.
