Well I am finally posting. When we boarded the plane in Greensboro we knew we were already off to a bad start. The flight attendant came on the intercom and asked everyone to look for
a pair of glasses. The pilot had walked the plane and was now missing his glasses. After no
response she then inquired if anyone on board had a commercial pilots license. Later she
inquired if there was perhaps a child on board who loved video games. She was particularly
interested to know if there was a child on board that loved flight simulator games. Apparently
there was still no response. By this time there were a few uncomfortable faces on the plane.
Suddenly the pilot burst in "We are truly desperate. Is there anyone on board mechanically
inclined that thinks they can do anything? This is your chance to fly a plane. Suddenly all
of these voices (male and female) burst into laughter. Just kidding they exclaimed in chorus
"Just kidding".

We finally arrived in Las Vegas 6:30 Vegas time. We are not gamblers. We decided we
should at least say we walked the strip. We ended up in the MGM Grand. There were
horse races on these monitors. Robin loves horses. She wondered if there was beginners
luck in her life. She put $25.00 on the #5 horse. We (She) walked out with $2500.00.
I hoped she would buy dinner.

We left Las Vegas later than planned. We had to purchase a new camera. Wow, Fry's Electronics
is a really cool store.

We drove up the Zion National Park. We arrived at approximately 3 pm. We jumped the
shuttle that takes us up the canyon and back. We jumped off at different points and took
short hikes. I will write more later on Zion. Time to get started for a Tuesday in Zion.
