At midnight tonight all three of our leases will be expired. After a hard night of preparation followed by an experiment in the mixing of malaria medication and one dollar sake bombs. By 5:30 AM the 'baru will be leaving Los Angeles for good on the way to Durango Colorado. A few days up on Wolf Creek Pass should help build our tolerance for high elevation and excessive drinking. Ryan Barton is a particular concern as he as proven himself to be quite a liability in that department as of late. By Friday we will be Santa Fe exploring the provinces of Northern Mexico that were taken in the Mexican-American war. Early Sunday morning we will cross the border at El Paso TEXas ad head towrd Chihua Mexico to explore the Copper Canyon, known as the Grand Canyon of Mexico. Nervous? never... Anxious? Always....
