We left Memphis and spent one night in Jackson, Mississippi on our way to Shreveport, LA. We stayed at Barksdale AFB for two nights. The bomber planes flew over head during the day, but thanks goodness they were in their hangers at night. On our way to Shreveport we took a side trip to West Monroe, LA where we went to the Duck Commander shop where Duck Dynasty is filmed. We ran into Willie Robertson and we took our picture with him. He was really nice.

While in Shreveport we went to a place called Herby K's for some shrimp po' boy sandwiches. It was in an interesting part of town, but the food was pretty darn good. Then it was off to one of the casinos. Joe won a little, but I didn't do as well. I think together we broken even, so all is good...

Tomorrow we head to Waco for a few days. We are going to Magnolia's, the store from the HGTV show Fixer Upper. Maybe we will see Chip or Joanna Gaines...
