On Sunday, I paid a visit to the Whitney museum to see the last exhibition it will host before it moves downtown.

Jeff Koons is pretty famous in the art world but, New York in particular reveres him. It's an interesting dichotomy, as he is the most expensive artist in the world, the orange dog a part of the celebration collection went for $58.4 million, exceeding it's estimate of $35-55 million. Yet, before the art went under the gavel it was on display on the streets of New York for a month for any Tom to take a photo of it, with it etc.

This is one the best modern art exhibitions I've been to. The two floors dedicated to the artwork from easy fun and celebration were happy hormone inducing.

Enjoy...
