Today's Domino did not fall!!! We just hit our first glitch!!! Our buyers are golden but their buyers are still waiting for their "Clear to Close" approval so it looks like we will not close on 11/5 as planned. Our lawyers feel it will still go thru but will be delayed a few days!!!

The moving company packed our POD today and are coming to pack our long term container tomorrow. So tonight we are sleeping on a mattress in a half empty house...tomorrow it appears we will be sleeping on a mattress in an empty house!!!

Have all of you heard of FLAT STANLEY??? Well we are going to have our version known as "wedding candle"!!!
While packing for our move we rediscovered a candle that was made from our wedding invitation some 33 years ago.
So this candle is going to be our version of Flat Stanley and plan to take it everywhere we go during our 5 month adventure..so watch for it in our photo's!!!

The attached photo is our POD. Notice our Flat Stanley Candle??? So if you have not heard of Flat Stanley...you will be an authority by the time this BLOG ends.

Our lawyers feel we will still close on our house it is just a matter of when...

So hopefully in our next BLOG entry we will be on our way!!!

I've got my fingers crossed - I'm sure it will all work out. Sleeping on an air mattress in an empty house is not so bad...just ask Gary - he did t for almost a month.
