- Knicks Game in Madison Square Garden
- 28. to 29.: spending night at Don’s place

29.12 - NY - Day 19
- leaving at 7.45am to Washington DC
- Capitol
- White House
- Lincoln-, Washington- and Second World War Monument
- Air and Space Museum, American Indians Museum
- 29. to 30.: spending night at Robb and David’s place

30.12 - NY - Day 20
- Museum of America’s history
- Postal Museum
- Art and Portrait Museum
- leaving DC to NYC at 5.45pm
- 30. to 31.: spending night at Don’s place

31.12 - Happy New Global Year - Day 21
- transferring Don’s new couch from Hector’s place to Don’s ticket
- observing crowd and “ball” on Times Square
- ending up at our favorite bar
- 11. to 1.: spending night at Don’s place

1.1 - NY - Day 22
- again shopping in Manhattan -> such a girls ;-)
- 1. to 2.: spending night at Don’s place

2.1. - leaving NY to New Orleans - Day 23
- leaving at 7:10am from NY
- arriving at 9:49am in NO
- French Quarter (black break dancers, African restaurant)
- 2. to 3.: spending the night at Corey’s place

3.1. - New Orleans - Day 24
- guided tour through New Orleans with Corey, two Swedish guys and a girl from Florida
- “All you can eat” restaurant
- 3. to 4.: spending the night at Corey’s place

4.1. - leaving New Orleans to Houston (348 miles) - Day 25
- passing the longest bridge in the world across water
- driving through Baton Rouge
- driving along the Gulf of Mexico (super foggy)
- 4. to 5.: spending the night at Becky’s place

5.1. - Houston - Day 26
- Body World
- Seafood restaurant with desert at Ben & Jerry’s in Galveston
- very niceTexan-Mexican restaurant
- 5. to 6.: spending the night at Becky’s place

6.1. and 7.1. - leaving Houston to Las Cruces (675 miles) - Day 27 & 28
- Chelsea baked some homemade Cookies for our long trip home to Cruces
- leaving on the 6th at 11.15am from Houston
- driving through Austin
- having dinner in Fredericksburg, TX (best Mexican food ever - first left over in Stan’s whole life ;-))
- arriving on the 7th at 5.30am at our university in Las Cruces
