Today was a moving day. We had breakfast, packed the car, and headed on to our next place....Laramie, Wyoming. We rented a place here so the guys could go fishing nearby.

It was another short driving day. Typically we drive from 7-9 hours in a day, but today’s drive was only 4.5 hours.

We have spent a lot of hours on the road, but it has been fascinating. Typically I fall asleep while riding in the car, but not on this trip. There’s too much to see while riding. Corn field, wheat fields, soybean fields, hay (in various forms), the lay of the land, trees (or the lack of them), rock formations, flowers, various animals... all there for us to watch! It is not boring!

We were somewhat disappointed at Medicine Bow.... there was nothing there!!! We thought it would be a bigger town!! Once we arrived at Laramie we went to the grocery store, then headed to our Airbnb. We quickly unloaded so the guys could go fishing. Karen and I planned dinner and unpacked. We had a washer and dryer so we did laundry.

This house was fabulous! It was decorated to reflect the area...cowboys, Indians, trains. I have included several pictures. It was also located near the University if Wyoming.

The guys cane home for a late dinner. Fishing wasn’t very good because they had been without rain and the streams were very, very low. So they decided the next day they would like to take us sightseeing

We watched a movie that evening. It was Fools Rush In. Part of the movie took place at the Hoover Dam. It was fun to watch since we had just visited the dam.
