Metal Elephants, and Camping in Carparks

We only have 5 days of riding left if all goes to plan. Today is relatively short at a total distance of just over 120kms. The boys decide a sleep in is in order, as a concession we all agree to try and get ready faster.
We left Harrisville and meandered up HWY-50 again, hoping for better luck than yesterday. We had a fairly uneventful morning but there was a lot gravel on the side of the road which made riding a bit difficult.
At one of our stops there was a metal elephant about 1.8m tall. It had a sign on it that read Trump, Making America Great Again. Better be careful what we say around here.
We had to drive through Clarkson and the route took us off the highway and through town. We had about a dozen turns to make. Unfortunately I ended up being the driver for this stretch which was incredibly stressful. You have to make sure that the riders know when to turn and so you have to pull over constantly. It's hard to find a parking spot big enough for an RV at the best of times and even harder when you have to find one on a specific corner. While working our way through the town the boys decided to go into a pawn and gun shop for a look around. I give up!
We all climb hills at our own speed, it's the only way you can do it. So we often separate and then wait for each other at the top of the hill. This happened today with me waiting for Jeff to get up the hill. After waiting about 5 minutes and not seeing him I turned around and went back to find him walking his bike with a flat tyre. He had no spare. So I finally used my first spare tyre - for Jeff.
We finished early and then the day evaporated. We spent a couple of hours doing shopping and then in McDonalds (for the free Wifi) working out our dates for the end of the trip. We still haven't booked anything for Washington or New York. But we have agreed on the dates. That was almost as intense as a United Nations debate. Oh, and we've added a day in Philadelphia now as well.
We then spent 20 minutes driving to a camping ground only to find it was only for day use. We spent another 20 minutes driving back to Grafton and have ended up parked in the Walmart carpark. At least we got chips from the Burger King next door to have with the steak and eggs we cooked for dinner. It also meant another cold shower in the RV. If I ever see another RV after this trip it will be too soon.
Four days of riding to go, including a day crossing the Appalachian Mountains. We are beginning to think this might actually happen.
