In my point of view I think that modern day philosopher's are people who have a great or big impact on society. It is the people who change or impact people's point of view on things. I think that Barack Obama is one of those people who change other people's perspective. I think that he is a great example of a philosopher because of the impact he has had on the society. HE showed to people that any one can be a leader. You just need to have the right mind set. Before it was only causation men as president But by Obama being the first African American, he changed the way people view the role of a leader. He showed people that background, culture, or skin color does not decided if you are a leader. What decides if you are a leader is your hard work, dedication, and effert to become a leader. He changed the view of a leader in the society.
