Watching Paint Dry

"So when are ya'll going?" The question that's on everyones mind now that we're so close. Trust me, we asked the same question almost everyday so you're welcome to keep asking the same question.

Here's what we know, we received a letter Monday from the US State Dept, Visa Center to let us know that our daughters visa applications had been received (translation the documents are in China). We're not sure how long they'll take, but the next stage in this process is they will send the visa applications to the China office that will give us the offical travel date. Best guess 4 or 6 weeks, but that's just a guess.

I'm guessing we're going to be traveling the frist of Feb since Chinese New Year is the 23rd of Jan, as much as I'd love to be there and see New Year's celebration I really don't think they would give us a travel date during that time since so many offices would be closed.

One good thing, Son#1 brought my truck back so we can go get the mattress for one of the girls. We're still not sure who's sleeping in which bed but plan to let everyone be in the same bedroom until everyone gets settled in and we have the bed ready, just missing one small piece, the part you lay one :-)
