It's taken us two weeks, but we've finally found a schedule that works for visiting the national parks. We stay two nights at each place, using the arrival day to orient ourselves and watch the introductory video, and the second day to do all of our hiking and geological expeditions. The Narrows at the upper end of the canyon. This is as far as you can go without getting in the river. Notice that it's a walk, not a hike. It is one of the few paved, handicap accessible paths in the canyon. Perfect for our last day here.

An ancient grain bin. The people who lived here constructed them to keep their food from animals. This was refurbished by Boy Scouts.

Rev Frederick Vining Fisher, who came to the canyon in 1916 from Ogden, gave most of the major formations names.
