This is an update for Oct 14, 2008 (Monday)

We awoke early today because we had two areas to cover. We spent the first half of the day in Arches National Park just north of Moab, Ut. This park has over 700 arches, most of which are reached by long hikes. We chose the hike that was described as the best in the travel guides. The first hike was over a very difficult trail. At some points we walked along partitions that were only a few feet wide with drops of several hundred feet.

Met the coach of the Swiss track and field team. He was nice enough to snap this one. Of course we had done one for him also.
