The Alamo in its natural environment, with hundreds of tourists around. I spent the last couple of days with Drew, his daughter Maddison, his girlfriend Sarah and friend Joe.
On Tuesday we went down to the Riverwalk and ate at a place called the Rainforest cafe, it was very crowded and very touristy. But Maddison loved it. We had almost a two hour wait but it was a nice day and we just relaxed on the side of the Riverwalk.
After eating we did a little tiki-tour around some of the downtown streets. We passed the Buckhorn saloon. Basically a bar with lots of dead animals. It was also great to see the Riverwalk and the Alamo with hundreds of people around it. I had been lucky to visit it when it was quiet.
After we walked around a bit we went to pick Sarah up and went to a 50c film! Damn don't the movies cost like $14 back home? The movie was called Your and Ours or something, it wasn't very good, but for 50c who can complain.
