Settling In

Hi all,Today's weather was beautiful. We all went out to breakfast this morning for Leslie's birthday. We came back home and just took it easy, relaxing on the deck. Then Les and I went to the super market to pick up a few things. What a great place!! Lots of people were out shopping today, getting ready for Christmas. It doesn't feel like Christmas to me - it's not cold, there's no snow (I'm not complaining though!) Then we decided to go out for dinner to a great pizza place called the Brick Oven. Delicious pizza and great wine.. When we got back after dinner, we had some birthday cake and champagne. What a nice day this was!!!!!!!



Saturday's weather is going to be on the cool side - in the 40s but then will warm up and be in the 60s next week.



Maybe tomorrow we'll take a ride around the area here to see what it's like. There are lots of new shopping areas, restaurants, etc. being built, so it looks like the economy is pretty good.



On January 3 we have an appointment with a real estate agent who will show us some houses. We're very interested in seeing what's out there.



So, today's events weren't as exciting and our travel days were; it was restful, relaxing and fun to hang out with Les and Michael.
