What A Legend!

He was before my time but I think every soul on this planet loves him & has been influenced by him & his music. And OMG what a Hottie!

He was born very poor in a tiny working class town called Tupelo, Mississippi.

He had a twin who was stillborn. Imagine if there had been 2 of him!

Wanted a gun for his 11th birthday but his very influential mother bought him a guitar instead...thank fuck for that!

He was a millionaire by the age of 22 in 1957 & purchased Graceland in Memphis Tennessee for $100k. It is an amazing place. Steeped in EP memorabilia & hideously decorated but his music is perennial & the Theatre tour was The Best...
