Take Off

The last posting in October said we were leaving on the 26th, but we had an issue with the paperwork for our dog, Maggie and cat, Bear. So, we were delayed by a week. Changes to airline tickets, reservation in Guayaquil and Cuenca.

We took off from Nashville at 12 Noon on the 2nd of November layed over in Miami for a few hours and then arrived in Guayaquil about 10 PM. After collecting all our bags and our pets, we were greeted by the owner of Iguanazul, the hostel that we made reservations, to relax for a few days before heading up to Cuenca. We knew things would be crazy for a while, getting our new home set up, so decided to take a few days of relaxation.

The better picture of the sunset on the way to Guayaquil was taken by a nice gentleman across the aisle that saw I was trying to take it from my seat.
