Keeping Blount Beautiful

We volunteered for the Give a Day, Get a Day with Keep Blount Beautiful. In exchange for picking up 21 bags of trash this morning, we now get a free ticket to Disney (woo!). Thankfully the rain stayed away long enough for us to pick up lots and lots of bags of trash on Elljoy road. It's amazing how disgusting people can be and what stuff they throw out the car window! Anyway, here's a few pix

We drove down the road and dropped Mom and Aaron off at heavy litter spots. Stef and I drove down further with the flashers on and she would grab the big stuff or we would park and walk the ditches. Then we'd pick up the other two and get another stretch of road.

This was when we decided to call it quits. We had gone almost to the end of Ellejoy picking up over 21 bags of garbage (that wasn't even half of the trash, I'm sure, but we couldn't get it all- it's a long road)
