meet MOSES :) :) :) bottom left. I tried to get a picture of him next to a normal sized turtle...but with the zoom... you can't really tell just how tiny he is. I LOVE HIM. I named the baby turtle MOSES!!! He’s so precious check out the picture of the little man!!!
My mother, father, and I went out for a walk around the golf course at Brunswick Plantation this morning… and I found myself laughing about the conversation we were having at one point….this is EXACTLY how it went… with no pauses….. and if you know my family at all, you probably won’t be surprised one bit.
ME: “Dad….did you know that in Texas, they say a Texas pledge after the Pledge of Allegiance in schools, and they put their hands out like this?” (holding my hands out in front of me cupping them together like I am catching water)
DAD: “No I didn’t know that, that’s good, good for them. Did you know when the Constitution is printed there is small clause at the bottom saying kids should read it with parental supervision?” (then he went into all this detail that I can’t quote word for word because it was my dad, which means a LOT of detail)
ME: “Interesting…..I can still recite the entire Preamble to the Constitution” (I start singing it. The whole thing. Yes, singing it.)
MOM: “I know

This is the BRUNSWICK PLANTATION house.... it kinda reminds me of the HOUSE from the movie "The Notebook" all my prepositions!!!!” (literally starts singing them off - I don’t know how she knows all of these)
Yup! That was the whole conversation before I busted out laughing as I rehashed the conversation in my head…I hope you find this as funny as I do.
MOVING ON……We spent the day down in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Today was so ridiculously HOT! 110 degrees….possibly hotter…. no jokes. It was fun! Myrtle Beach was CROWDED, and HOT (did I already say that?).
A couple years back I read a book called “The Barbarian Way” by Erwin Rapheal McManus, and it inspired me in a way that I can’t even explain. This book calls you to return to the ancient, primal, barbaric, and dangerous faith of Jesus and His early disciples. If you have not read this book, I strongly recommend you get your hands on a copy and give it a read! It’s phenomenal!
While lying at the pool today, I began re-reading it. In just the few chapters I hit today, I was incredibly encouraged that God has BIG PLANS for my life. What are the plans? GREAT QUESTION! I’m working on growing closer in my

He’s not even calling you to the same path that every follower of Christ will walk. Your life is unique before God, and your path is yours and yours alone. Where God will choose to lead you and how God chooses to use your life cannot be predicted by how God has worked in the lives of others before you.”
…..I want my heart to beat in rhythm with the heart of God…..
