Destination - Charleston, SC
Left anchorage at 6:00 AM arrived at Charleston, SC at 3:00.

Anchorage was very exposed but great scenery. No light around so the stars were very clear. Then it got really cold. Wind picked up this morning and along with the current made the boat swing toward land. Made us nervous that the anchor would break loose and drive us to shallow water so we left before light and ran with the chartplotter. Saw the first palm trees today. Saw more dolfin in shallow water.

Got to the marina here in Charleston pretty early and went into town for a great dinner. Seafood Platter with grilled oysters, shrimp, and fish. The marina shuttle did not run at night so had to hike it back to the boat. Now very tired. I have been getting up about every three hours for the last six nights to check the anchor. It will be nice to get a whole nights sleep. May do a little site seeing tomorrow. May even go to Fort Sumpter.

After that heading toward Beaufort, SC. Hope tobe in Georgia next week.
