FLAG BURNING A PRIORITY

I laugh everday that I pick up the paper and see the Congress has formed another committee that will use millions in tax dollars to push the personal agenda of one self-important $&%^ so they can get there overly made up face on TV. Now our elected officials attempted to push through a constitutional ammendment to ban the desicration of the American Flag. With a war in Iraq and Afganistan, market instability, record national debt, rising inflation, homelss Americans, AIDS, Cancer, etc. how do they really find the time. Our modern civilization is one of inaction and CYOA. ATTENTION ELECTED OFFICIALS.....please work on something relative.....the flag burning issue has been around for a long time I think it can wait a little longer. Perhaps you could try working on something that will better the lives of your constituents instead of worrying about what the FBI might find in your office.
