This is a long blog...from Texas to Michigan to Florida, so there's a lot to write about. We hope you enjoy it... When you drive from the near bottom of the state of Texas, you’re about as far south as you can go in the contiguous (48) mainland states. Just turned 50 and retired. Taking my 13 year old son on a cross-country trip and trying to visit all 48 states. Our home and classroom is the 27' Nomad Travel Trailer we bought used for $6k. Our lab is America! Math, Spelling, Grammar, Science, Reading, and American History! We left October 3rd, 2011, from Northern California, drove to San Diego to visit Grampa Lloyd, then across the Southern California Desert into Arizona to Phoenix, Flagstaff and New Mexico through Gallop to Albuquerque to visit my sister Cami. Uncle Ralph

My Dad's brother Ralph was the only pilot in the Wedel family history...until I came along!
