The flight across the Pacific was smooth in the Dreamliner. The cloud formations from way up high were fascinating and spectacular and viewing them from time to time along with movie watching, mealtimes and doing stretching exercises helped the time to pass easily. LA first appeared as craggy rock outcrops sitting on the cloud banks but as we descended, LA and its hills were revealed albeit looking quite dry because of the drought. After a longer-than-expected wait in LAX for the connecting flight (.......now, just where did that crew for the original flight get to???), I arrived in Charlotte with some favourite snacks and drinks to celebrate!

Beautiful photos
I appreciate all the colourful photos of the plane. My favourite part of flying is being able to look out the window (albeit usually small) at the view!
