Boat that took us on the thousand islands Hi Again
On the way home from Niagra Falls we visited a place called Thousand Islands,we took an hours boat trip at 8am in the morning.
Thousands Islands constitutes an Archipelago of 1864 Islands, that straddles the Canadian-US border in the Saint Lawrence River,as it emerges from the Northeast corner of Lake Ontario.
There was some amazing homes on this stretch of water, some weird ones ,some stunning, this is where the most wealthy have had these houses built,
Many of them today are Hotels for the tourist trade.
We spent a another night in New York and next morning got a taxi down to the free ferry that takes you to a Staten Island on the way on the ferry there is good view of the Statue of Liberty,we finished doing that, and then we wenot to ground Zero, trade centre to see the Memorial of 9/11.It was very moving and simply done,we spent a bit of time there, and we went the New shopping mall ,that is built in the shape of a dove next to Memorial,it's all white inside and out,it's very impressive, and well worth a visit, had lunch at eatItaly a famous place for lunch, its enormous food good.
