Day 183 (Monday 19/10/09, NJJ)
Just two weeks left of our travels. Brekkie was good because it included peanut butter on toast - one of my mostest bestest favourites. Did a spot of shopping. Patient Jay waited whilst I wandered around Michael's (craft tore) then Bed, Bath & Beyond. To be honest I was bored of shopping because living on a shoestring for nearly 7 months did stunt any enthusiasm we had for shopping, especially as everything we would have liked was out of our non-existent price range. On the road again then eastbound as far as Fort Stanwix National Monument. After a wander around which we drove on to Lake George where the motel which we planned to stay at was closed for the season. The same happened with accommodation option 2. Many restaurants were also closed. Drove on then to Queensbury then stayed in, what turned out to be, a very nice room in a Sleep Inn. Had buffalo wings and blue cheese dip for dinner again yum yum.
