The Big Apple!

After a gruelling bus journey from Toronto with frequent stops we arrived in the big jungle of buildings that is New York. Our host, Alex, planned to meet us at Grand Central station so our sightseeing had already started 😊 Alex and Laila are so lovely and their apartment is luxurious and the subway is only 5 minutes away.

There was no one in when we arrived but there was chocolate, a pamper pack, water and snacks waiting for us which was hugely welcomed after the 12 hour bus.

We’re kicking off our last chapter of the journey with the Statue of Liberty tomorrow and cannot wait to see all of the city!

We love to travel anywhere and everywhere, exploring new cultures and places. We met on a plane so it seems only right that we jet off to different places as much as we can :) "The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page" - St Augustine. On the second of August we will be landing in San Francisco in sunny Cali. We will then make our way across the US of A, making many stops along the way and dropping into Mexico and jumping up into Canada.
