First full day in NYC - Rich, Ann, Katherine, David, Paige, & Joe

We met Elieen at Rockefeller Plaza. One of my favorite starting places in the city.

While the kids went up to the Top of the Rock to view Manhattan from the observation deck, Rich and I had drinks at the Rockefeller Rink bar. They loved the view from the Top of the Rock!

We wondered around Rockefeller Plaza a bit, getting our bearings. We caffed up at one of the busiest Starbucks we encountered in the city. The Starbucks at 30 Rockefeller Plaza (down in the concourse) is so busy that they have a dedicated Starbucks employee that just calls names and distributes drinks. Not sure if it's to keep order or to keep people from stealing each others drinks. 😉

A "must stop" in this area for Katt is Teuscher Chocolate. Amaaazzzing chocolates!

From there we walked to Eileen's hotel (Gotham Hotel - http://www.thegothamhotelny.com/ - 46th street) so the kids could change into the "Broadway clothes". 😊 Great hotel I must check out for a future trip! Understated, yet clean, quiet, sleak, private patio, nice bar, etc.
