Liberty State Park
Liberty State ParkNov 1, 2009 - Its time to visit New York City. We we’re being guided by my aunt and uncle because they’ve been in the city many times and knew the ins and out. We hit the road at around 8 am and traveled about 1 ½ hours. We decided to visit first the Liberty state park which is still located in NJ in which we took many pictures. You could also see the New York Skyline from a far. I was surprised that the liberty is color green while I thought all the time it was white. We didn’t have the chance to ride the ferry to bring us inside the liberty because of the time. Before reaching New York, you have to cross the Holland Tunnel which is the connecting tunnel from New Jersey to New York. We went to the New York University to park the truck and headed to the Pier so we could have our lunch and our background was the Brooklyn bridge. It was a very nice view though. we walked along the streets of NY and reached the New York Stock Exchange in wall street. I was surprised the second time because I thought
NYC Skyline
NYC Skyline the street is very big but in reality it is just a normal size of a side street in back in Manila. We also passed by the area of the so called ground zero. On our way to the Central Park, we ride the Subway and it was very confusing.
As we enter the Central Park, I remember many movies which was taken at the park… Autumn in New York, One Fine day, Serendipity to name a few =) The buildings surrounding the park, the different colors of the trees, the weather… everything is so perfect! All you could hear from me is a sigh =)
We also went to the Time Square, Rockefeller, passed by NBC Studio and NBA store. I wanted to go to the Empire state & Waldorf Astoria but we do not have enough time… maybe next time.
We hit the road around 8pm …… time to go back to New Jersey…. We we’re all fell asleep except for our driver who happens to be my brother in-law.... thanks bro
Next stop: WASHINGTON DC
