Central park

Central park is one of the most beautiful places in NY – it is not only famous tourist attraction, but cool place where local people go for a run, walk or simply to enjoy some of the open air theatre productions or concerts. The park itself is huge – 843 acres and there are different ways you can go around – carriage, bike, walking.

My personal favorite was bike rental – it is great way to see the park and Manhattan around it in few hours, especially if you like active vacation. You can also take one of the guided group bike tours which is even better because the guides always tell you interesting stories about the park attractions. Our guide took to see the most importan ones, like The Mall, Bethesda Fountain, Strawberry fields and Belvedere Castle and some other.
