Hello guys. Well we have arrived safe and sound in NYC and thus far have spent one night here. Want to send out a massive thanks to Sarah, Kelly and Doreen for putting us up in thier home for several nights. Was a rad pad. I've never really been in a basement b4 in a house, which was cool because after a massive night if you woke up on the couch at miday it was still dark all around you. They also had a spa. 😊 It was a new experience to jump in the spa with a few beers and they got COLDER while you drunk them. Perfect.

Whilst there in Waterloo we went iceskating. Loved it. Although i picked it up fairly easy cos i can inline skate i still managed to collide with a few locals a few occations. What can i say?, they got in my way.

So far NY seems really cool. Last night we went out to the "Mercury Lounge". Was a cool little place but we decided to leave after a few beers and go for a walk. By the way the weather here is around 0 - 5 degrees so feels like the tropics compared to Canada. Anyway after 1/2 hr of walking John noticed a lil bar called "Cafe Wha?"

Ive never heard of it but he had read about it in the Bob Dylan autobiography. Apparently its where he started out. The door man also dropped other names such as Jimmy Hendrix, Bruce Springsteen, Janis Joplin. Anyway a funky lil pub. There was a 9 piece band that both John and I think is the best cover band we have ever seen playing such greats as "Rock with you" by MJ, "Play that funky music white boy" that they mixed seemlessly into "Smells like teen spirit" then back again. To "Creep" (radiohead) and "gold digger". Just awsome to watch and hear.

We also had breakfast at the Seinfield resturant on the corner of broadway and west 112th.

Antway hope all is well back home. Hope you liked the pics we posted the other day. Sorry it took so long but its hard to find places we can plug our camera in.

Kristian and John.

Wait, silly question! just got Brett to show me the pics (Awesome!)Pudd great to see you finally have a go on ice.I tried to get you to do it years ago but the ice-rinks were shuttin down too quick any-way that's my excuse.Mum and I just got back from Perth and we had an absolute ball and what a beautiful place. We took a cruise down the swan river and viewed Millionaires Row where all the rich and famous live,we saw this one house that Lang Handcock's business partner built took him 9 years to build and worth 55 million, makes me feel a little better about metricon's repairs to our house taking 6months.Hey! Your cousin Michaels wedding went off without a hitch ,(except theirs of course).Every thing went off well, except the venue, which they probably paid a fortune for ,right down by the swan river and everything, well the air-conditioner did'nt work very well, and like no-one could dance or any-thing,(Too- bloody hot).Oh what else? Oh yeah we met a guy over there that turned out that he was a musician but he was also apersonal carer for uncle Barry when he was alive. How's that eh! Any-way enough for now I'll sign off for now and spewin I missed your phone-call this morning, TAKE CARE BUDDY_BOY. Love dadxxxxxxxx

Hey Kids, Sure sounds like you're having a hellova good time, i'm getting more and more jealous each time you write. I'm glad to see you're unleashing your personalities on the rest of the world, i hope they're handling the puddyisms and sweeneyisms. I'm gonna cut this short as i'm at work, but before i go just 2 quick things. 1. In and Out burger was one of the scariest meals i've ever seen. 2. was johnny's hair straightned when you went to the hockey? ciao for now Tony
