Lazy day in NYC

Tom: Bit of a nothing day, NYC was covered in mild rain which meant that the low mist shrouded the tallest scrapers, so after a long walk through Manhattan we hit Chinatown for a spot of lunch and i'll tell you it was well worth the soaking.
We planned an evening at the hostel, doing washing and all that RL crap when we popped into a deli near the hostel which wasn't our "usual" one. What a good find it turned out to be, 24 fluid oz cans of Bud (about 1.5 pints) for $1.50 (about 75p), oh happy days! In fact as someone quite famous in the UK exclaims "It's as cheap as chips".
