1) The Adventure Begins

Up early and to the airport. Thanks to Karen, Anna, Patti and Willis for helping out and watching the house while we're gone.

Michael left early for a long layover in Toronto, where it was a beautiful and sunny day. The Jays/Bosox game started too late too late to make it back in time for the flight to Munich. (Need to plan the layover better next time!)

Glenda had time for breakfast with Karen, before heading off to Chicago. After a brief layover there it's on to Berlin, then Munich.

Yes, we did fly separately. The price we paid for using leftover frequent flier points. Two different airlines, so we flew separate. STAY TUNED to find out whether Glenda finds Michael in Munich, and whether they make their connection on Deutsche Bahn to Nurnberg.
