We woke up this morning in Taos, New Mexico to a chilly breeze coming through the windows and even though I slept like a baby (Advil does that to me), I still didn't feel good. Isn't that an awesome drive through NM and into Colo? We have a small piece of property in La Veta, CO, near Walsenburg, so we've taken that trip a few times starting in El Paso. Glad you stopped to see the gorge. We actully drove that road in in blinding snow storm on one trip. It was so bad that I had to stick my head out the car window just to see the side of the road and keep us on track! Scary!
