rosie on the inside up close and personal!Today was our last day with our little car, we had grown pretty fond of her and even given her a name - Rosie! We left for Vegas as soon as we got up because we weren't sure how long the drive was. We stopped at McDonald's to get directions to our hotel and another thunderstorm started so we had to drive in that for a little while.
Rach wasn't feeling well so we drove straight to the hotel to drop off our massive packs before we dropped the car off. We were staying down the far end of the Strip, on Fremont Street, which is the old Strip. The hotel is called El Cortez, and it was pretty cool for $17 a night. It even had a Subway in it which we ended up having for dinner. We drove to the airport and dropped the car off, which was the biggest mission to find and not sign posted at all! We said goodbye to Rosie and hoped on a shuttle bus back to our hotel for an early night in preperation for the next 4 days!
